There’s rather a lot that’s unsettling about Donald Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel. The Tempo College College of Legislation grad has been a proponent of “Deep State” conspiracy theories and is rumored to have an enemies checklist (he denies his checklist of “corrupt actors” from the “deep state” is an enemies checklist as such). He’s proposed deep shakeups on the FBI, which Home Democrats say may “jeopardize our nationwide safety, leaving the FBI with no skilled senior management and a partisan Trump loyalist heading up the Bureau’s response to growing safety threats from Russia, China, and different authoritarian adversaries.”
He produced a model of the “The Star-Spangled Banner” that featured the J6 Jail Choir. Patel threatened to go after the media, saying, “We’re going to come back after the folks within the media who lied about Americans who helped Joe Biden rig presidential elections. We’re going to come back after you, whether or not it’s criminally or civilly. We’ll determine that out. However yeah, we’re placing you all on discover.”

Maybe we should always simply recognize Patel’s honesty in declaring Donald Trump’s want to be King — twenty second Modification be damned.
