Searchers have positioned the wreck of the one warship that fought for each america and its enemy Japan throughout World Conflict II.

The stays of the destroyer USS Stewart had been present in early August at a depth of roughly 3,500 ft (1,065 meters) within the Cordell Financial institution Nationwide Marine Sanctuary, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) northwest of San Francisco.
